A Life of Purpose and Passion After Retirement
RETIREMENT MASTERY
REIGNITE PURPOSE AND PASSION AFTER RETIREMENT
Retirement is a time for transformation.
Retirement does not have to be your final chapter, nor a season of rest. Evidence shows that slowing down after we finish in the workplace promotes aging, not the other way around.
Throughout life, there are times when we choose change, training or coaching into a new level at work, new skills, change in career, becoming parents, then there are times when life circumstances force change, retirement being one of them. Whether you chose when you retire or not, retirement itself means change. Changes in:

 • Schedule
• Relationship dynamics - to partner/spouse, children, friends, past colleagues
• Purpose
• Identity
All of that also means letting go of old purpose and identity, and that can be uncomfortable, psychologically messy, and could even feel subconsciously unsafe.

Change is something that happens throughout life, you at 17 were not the same you at 30. The 17-year-old you would not have had the confidence to do most of what the 30-year-old you was doing. Every interaction, every event, every experience has changed you.

Change happens and will continue to happen; however, there is a choice. . . . . .

You can either let the events of tomorrow influence change based on the same conditioning, beliefs, and societal values and expectations that have influenced how past events determined the direction of personal change to date, or you can choose the direction of your growth and transformation from today.
This is a time to embrace, and be excited about, new passions, activities and purpose.
It’s time to reinvent yourself!
